Description
12 TAB 5 TOPzS 442-575Ah 2v Batteries
TAB solar batteries are designed to supply energy to homes that operate using solar energy and that require a battery bank that can be slowly discharged over a long period of time. The 12 TAB 5 TOPzS 442-575Ah 2v batteries are very reliable given their number of years on the market, lasting on average about 1200 cycles applying discharges of up to 60%. The lower the depth of discharge, the longer the battery life will be, although it is more common for this type of stationary battery bank to last between 9 and 12 years. The connection bridges and battery screws are attached with the complete group of 12 accumulators to form a 24V battery.

Details of the product
Characteristics of the TAB Solar Battery TOPzS is the most appropriate type of stationary battery for photovoltaic solar systems and must be connected between the charge regulator and the inverter. It is a deep cycle stationary battery, whose main virtues compared to monoblock batteries are depth of discharge and long useful life. The percentages go up to 70% although we do not recommend going beyond 50% on a regular basis and its life cycles, which can reach 1500 cycles with an average discharge depth of 50%. , considering a cycle a complete discharge and a complete battery charge.
The TAB battery
Manufactured in the European Union, it has been tested during more than 20 years that the factory has been producing batteries, with a failure rate of less than 0% of the total batteries, providing security in its commercialization and guarantee of operation in photovoltaic solar systems.
The accumulators must always be connected in series until reaching the working voltage of the inverter, that is, if we have a 12V inverter, we will need 6 accumulators connected in series, while if our installation is 24V or 48V we will need 12 or 24 accumulators respectively.
These types of batteries are designed for use in systems that require a constant supply of energy such as homes isolated from the electrical grid, with their respective computers, televisions, refrigerators or any other domestic appliance that requires electrical energy.
The TAB TOPzS Solar Battery
As shown on the label, it is rated at various discharge rates, the most frequently used being the C10 and C100 rates. Normally, in batteries for solar and renewable energy, the rate that predominates over the rest is the C100 rate, which means that to calculate the capacity of this battery, the battery has been subjected to a continuous discharge for 100 hours and has been able to extract the amps that are marked.
Whenever we need stationary solar batteries, intended for use in homes and with permanent consumption, the C100 measurement is very reliable, since it refers to a discharge of around 4 days, which is the closest to what happens in reality.
