The operation of the COMBI-MAX involves a mass surveillance constant of the tension in the networkIf an interruption in this is detected, the inverter stops generating energy by losing synchronization, and the COMBI-MAX activates island mode, allowing the inverter to supply the loads through the solar panels or batteries.
During island mode, the loads connected to the equipment receive power from the inverter, keeping the grid physically disconnected. When it detects the reappearance of the main grid, the COMBI-MAX deactivates island mode and reconnects the installation to the grid after a safety period established by regulations.
The device is equipped with a front indicator light that shows the operating status. Under normal conditions, the indicator remains green, but it goes out in the event of a power failure after performing the necessary actions. During reconnection to the grid, the indicator flashes twice per second, indicating that the reconnection is timing out and that the installation continues to operate in island mode during this time.
