WccSolar recommends the use of SOPZS batteries in facilities where daily use is planned for many years. It is the economic model of the traditional SOPZS solar battery. It is manufactured in a more economical container and automatically, which affects the final price of the product. This SOPZS model and up to 6000 cycles of discharge at 20% (the usual consumption in a properly sized solar installation). It stands out for its low level of self-discharge, low maintenance, and for the quality of all its components.
Long-life flooded tubular plate batteries with translucent PP container.
The 2V SOPzS type stationary batteries are indicated for the power supply of isolated photovoltaic solar systems, small power wind, hybrid installations with diesel generator, pumping systems, rural electrification, telecommunications and signaling, computers, emergency lighting, alarms , airports or sea navigation.
Up to 2 years warranty per manufacturer

Features of the Solar Battery Sunlight SOPZS is the most appropriate type of stationary battery for solar photovoltaic systems and must be connected between the charge controller and the inverter. It is a deep-cycle stationary battery, whose main virtues with respect to monoblock batteries are the discharge depth and long service life. The percentages are up to 70% although we do not recommend going beyond 50% on a regular basis and their life cycles, which can reach 1500 cycles with an average discharge depth of 50% , considering a complete discharge cycle and a full battery charge.
The Sunlight battery, manufactured in the European Union, has been tested for more than 20 years that the factory has been producing batteries, with a failure rate of less than 0. 1% of the total batteries, gives security in its commercialization and guarantee of operation in solar photovoltaic systems.
The accumulators must always be connected in series until the inverter's working voltage is reached, that is, if we have a 12V inverter, we will need 6 accumulators connected in series, while if our installation is 24V or 48V we will need 12 or 24 accumulators respectively.
These types of batteries are designed for use in systems that require a constant supply of energy such as homes isolated from the mains, with their respective computers, televisions, refrigerators or any other household appliance that requires electrical power.
The Sunlight SOPZS Solar Battery, as shown on the label, is valued at several discharge rates, with the most frequently used rates being C10 and C100. Normally, in solar and renewable energy batteries, the rate that prevails over the rest is the C100 rate, which means that to calculate the capacity of this battery, it has undergone a continuous discharge of the battery for 100 hours and this has been able to extract the amps that are marked.
Whenever we need solar stationary batteries, intended for use in homes and with permanent consumption, the C100 measure is very reliable, since it refers to a discharge of about 4 days, which is the closest to what happens in reality.
