Commissioning of BPD Solar Pumping Variator
Good Morning!!
Today we bring you a video of the start-up of a solar pumping drive.
This video explains step by step how to connect drives with connection and parameters for both three-phase and single-phase pumps with or without capacitor.
AC input
Connection: AC INPUT
Connections:
Connect LNT to AC INPUT as indicated on the plug
AC input
Connection: AC INPUT
Connections:
-
Phase 1 Pin 1
-
Phase 2 Pin 2
-
Phase 3 Pin 3
Buoys
Connection: COM
-
Buoys Full tank
-
Connections:
-
Cable 1 Pin 3
-
Cable 2 Pin 5 (common)
-
Dead Well
-
Connections:
-
It must be connected between pins 4 and 5
Solar panels
Connection: -DC INPUT and + DC INPUT
Connections:
Connect Positive and Negative Mc4's to the Inverter.
Keyboard Connection
Recommended Parameters
To enter parameters:
-
We press the PROG.P00 key
-
We move with the arrows to reach the first group.
-
We press DATA/ENT P00.00
-
We move with the arrows until we reach the desired second group parameter and press DATA/ENT
-
By default the value will appear: 0
-
We select the indicated value:1
-
We click on DATA/ENT and continue with the same process for the rest of the parameters.
Parameters Pump III 230V
(enter parameters according to established order)
P00.18 = 1
P02.00 = 0
P02.05= Pump amps + 0,2
P15,05 = 60.0
P15.17 = 00.0
P15.21 = 600.0
P07.04 = 1
P08.28 = 10
P08.29 = 710
P05.01 = 1
P00.01 = 1
Single Phase Pump Parameters
(enter parameters according to established order)
P00.18 = 1
P02.00 = 1
P02.05= Pump amps + 3
P15,05 = 80.0
P15.17 = 00.0
P15.21 = 600.0
P07.04 = 1
P08.28 = 10
P08.29 = 710
P05.01 = 1
P00.01 = 1
After entering the parameters, turn off the drive
(remove the fuses until Poff appears on the screen and wait 20 seconds)
Put the Fuses back in and wait 20-30 seconds.
The drive will start automatically.
B. Single phase with capacitor (connection: AC OUTPUT)
Connections:
-
Neutral (blue wire): PIN 2
-
Line (brown wire): PIN 3
-
3rd Cable not connected to the drive.
-
The colors can vary, you have to use a multimeter to find Line and Neutral.
-
Parameter: P04.34=10
B. Single-phase without capacitor (connection: AC OUTPUT)
Connections:
-
Neutral (blue wire): PIN 2
-
Line (brown wire): PIN 3
-
3rd Wire (black wire): PIN 1
-
The colors can vary, you have to use a multimeter to find Line and Neutral.
-
Parameter: P04.34=11
We measure the resistance in OHMs between all cable combinations.
(The colors are only indicative to show how to calculate it)
Blue-Black = 11
Brown-Blue=2
Black-Brown=7
-
We keep the one with the highest value and the one with the lowest value
-
The common color in both is the Line or Phase. (in this case Blue)
-
In the one with the lowest value, the other one that is not Line/Phase is the Neutral. (in this case Brown)
-
The remainder would be the condenser phase
